Iggy Azalea says bye to Twitter

Iggy Azalea is one of the most influent artist in the actual music scene. The 24 year old “Fancy” singer says goodbye to her 4.33 million followers on Twitter following her mentor’s advice. T.I. recently said he wanted Iggy to stop answering negative comments because they are affecting her too much.

Do you want to know why is Iggy so upset to the point of deciding to quit Twitter?

iggy_azalea_bikini_twitter_leyre_grandaIggy was enjoying a deserved vacation in Hawaii with her boyfriend while she was shooted by paparazzi. She was wearing a red bikini and just chilling in the pool. Nothing new. A hard worker young girl enjoying a deserved break with her love.

But when she came back to reality from paradise she had to face very mean comments about her beach body. Internet was crazy about her pictures and people’s comments were not very nice. She had to read everywhere her booty was fat and full of cellulite. Which is absolutely normal in women.

At the beginning it seemed like she was using the 140 characters in a nice way and making fun of those ridiculous comments but it ended up being more serious for her than it seemed.

She is very used to have to respond to bad comments criticizing her music, outfits and anything else that trolls feel like attacking her for. Even other celebs have critiqued or ridiculed her including Azealia Banks, Eve, Jill Scott, Q-Tip, Tyler the Creator and many others. But this was just too much for her so she decided to stop managing her own Twitter profile and let others do that job in an attempt to stay away from critiques and focus on things than really matter.

“It is too negative and draining” , “I feel the hatred and pettiness I see online at all times is at making me become an angry person and I cannot be that” are some of the latest tweets Iggy sent. She also wanted her fans to know she does not want to be rude to them so she will be posting tweets sometimes signing them with “-IA” .

Peace Iggy!!! We support you!
